Kids love to get their hands dirty, which is exactly what they will do in our new kid’s cooking class. These hands-on cooking classes teach technique with a focus on fun. Our Kid’s Cooking Class is a great way for kids to do something different on vacation. For two hours, they will be immersed in a foodie world, learning from our expert chefs about local food, traditions, and neat tips and tricks in the kitchen. Our creative, fun approach to the kitchen means your kids will enjoy learning, helping to foster a lifelong love for cooking.
During each session, your child is given the confidence to create fabulous meals, while learning basic cooking skills and the value of good ingredients, as well as how to recognize them. Kids will cook up our chef’s most delicious children’s recipes, and lucky families might even get some leftovers to sample. This two hour class will be one of your children’s favorite memories of vacation.

Born in the Algarve in a small fishing village, Lucia was accustomed to cooking with and eating a variety of fresh produce from a young age. Her grandparents come from the countryside and always maintained fresh vegetable and fruit gardens. Getting together around a table of food is very important to Lucia. Her passion for cooking started at a young age.
She moved to England as a teenager, where she studied and worked in the business world until she made the leap into the professional kitchen. She travels a lot and has lived in Spain and New York, as well, working in the hospitality and the wine industry. However, her heart was always in the kitchen. In her free time, she likes to go back to her roots—literally. You can find her at the ocean or in her in the garden, where she grows and picks her vegetables.
