Our supper club is exactly what it sounds like—a casual evening around the table, in good company with great food. Try a new dining experience at Pine Cliffs Resort. Sip on a welcome drink, meet your fellow diners, and settle into your table in the kitchen to see what's simmering on our stoves. Our fantastic and luxurious cooking school is the perfect place for people to come together to try new dishes and enjoy a fabulous, convivial atmosphere.
This supper club features traditional Portuguese food and ingredients, tailored to the season and the occasion, guaranteed to please. Open up your eyes to the real Portuguese cooking, and see how delicious it can be when traditional dishes are refined and perfected.
Our wine expert will arrange a selection of wines to pair with the dishes prepared by one of our chefs. Meanwhile, our chef will talk you through the dishes they are preparing, so you can pick up a few tricks for your home kitchen. The supper club is great opportunity to exchange conversation with others that share your love for all things culinary.
All food and drinks and VAT are included in the price of our experiences. There is not anything extra you ever need to pay for. The experiences also include your expert Mimo bilingual guide/translator. More details of what is included in each tour are provided under each product on the website.
Do your guides speak clearly in English?
Yes, all guides speak fluent English with years of experience living in English speaking countries. Some guides are native English speakers and all have very high levels of proficiency, speaking many languages.

When does the experience start and do I need to arrive early?
All start time information is displayed on our website under each experience. We strongly recommend guests arrive at our studio between 5 and 10 minutes before any experience starts.
Do you offer private experiences?

Are experiences available in other languages?
All tours are run in English but private tours can be arranged in other languages.
I’m a vegetarian – is this going to be a problem?
No problem. We will ensure that while on your experience, you will have the best vegetarian alternatives. However, you must let us know at the time of booking so we can organise this for you.
I am allergic to certain foods – is this going to be a problem?
No problem. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know. We will ensure you will have the best alternatives.
I don’t drink alcohol, is there a discount?
If you do not drink alcohol, we cannot offer a discount but will make sure you have the best alternatives available with a wide range of excellent soft drinks and juices available.
What if the experience I would like to do is not available on a certain date?

It’s no surprise that Cristiano is passionate about wine — he hails from vinho verde country. Growing up in Guimarães, a historic city in the north of Portugal, he was immersed in the food world from a young age, helping his parents at their restaurant that specialized in tapas and wine. Cristiano moved to the US at 22, where he worked his way up from busboy to head bartender at a tapas, cocktails, and wine bar. This is where his deep interest for wine flourished and led to diving deeper into oenology — over the last two years, he’s completed the WSET Level 2 and Level 3 courses, before joining us at Mimo Algarve as sommelier. When not researching new wines and leading tastings, Cristiano loves to spend quality time with his family and friends around good food and wine.
