Our wine expert will arrange a selection of wines to pair with the dishes prepared by one of our chefs. Meanwhile, our chef will talk you through the dishes they are preparing, so you can pick up a few tricks for your home kitchen. Born in the Algarve in a small fishing village, Lucia was accustomed to cooking with and eating a variety of fresh produce from a young age. Her grandparents come from the countryside and always maintained fresh vegetable and fruit gardens. Getting together around a table of food is very important to Lucia. Her passion for cooking started at a young age.
She moved to England as a teenager, where she studied and worked in the business world until she made the leap into the professional kitchen. She travels a lot and has lived in Spain and New York, as well, working in the hospitality and the wine industry. However, her heart was always in the kitchen. In her free time, she likes to go back to her roots—literally. You can find her at the ocean or in her in the garden, where she grows and picks her vegetables.
