In this short class, our expert chefs will reveal all the secrets and teach you how to make the real La Viña cheesecake, inimitable burnt top and all. You’ll taste the cheesecake the way it’s meant to be eaten, perfectly paired with a sherry that takes the luscious dessert to another level. Once you’ve feasted enough, you’ll get to take your creation home with you, armed with the recipe and techniques needed to recreate it. While your cheesecake is baking, you'll get to try your hand at making some classic pintxos and enjoy them with txakoli, the local Basque white wine.

Kat is, like us all, passionate about food. Raised in Yorkshire in Northern England, she has spent more of her adult life in London, where her love of food has led to a varied career that spans teaching Food Technology in schools to running a bakery, coffee shop, and baking school. Before joining us as Mimo London’s GM, Kat managed Borough Market’s Bread Ahead bakery and baking school.
Kat has recently been working on a baking book with her husband, which is coming soon in 2020. In her free time, you’ll find her working in her organic veggie garden in South West London and taking long walks along the river Thames, her happy place.
