Description

Cook and dine: Cider house night

Maybe you’ve already been to a Basque cider house, or maybe you don’t have enough time to fit it into your jam-packed itinerary? Our new Cook & Dine class is a perfect way to get a taste of this quintessentially Basque experience while gleaning cooking tips and tricks from our expert chefs.

In this short class, our chefs will guide you in cooking a traditional cider house dinner, including a cod fish omelette and the perfect txuleta, all washed down with plenty of Basque cider. We’ll finish with a typical sidreria dessert of membrillo with Idiazabal cheese and walnuts. A mini version of our regular cooking courses, Cook & Dine classes are perfect for clients pressed for time or with already-packed mealtime plans during their visit to San Sebastián. Learn new cooking techniques as you bring Basque traditions to life in this hands-on class.

Each class ends with a delicious dinner consisting of a starter, one main course, and dessert paired with cider or wine. You will gather around our rustic wooden table to enjoy what you and your fellow classmates have cooked using your newly acquired knowledge.

Fixed menu. Not recommended for vegans or vegetarians.
