Just as in the local societies, at our chef’s table dinner the line between kitchen and dining room, between chef and friend, is blurred. Take the best seat in the house, around our rugged concrete chef’s counter, for a close-up view of the cooking action. Listen to our chefs tell stories and explain the dishes, all from the top floor of our cookery school, overlooking Borough market.

Kat is, like us all, passionate about food. Raised in Yorkshire in Northern England, she has spent more of her adult life in London, where her love of food has led to a varied career that spans teaching Food Technology in schools to running a bakery, coffee shop, and baking school. Before joining us as Mimo London’s GM, Kat managed Borough Market’s Bread Ahead bakery and baking school.
Kat has recently been working on a baking book with her husband, which is coming soon in 2020. In her free time, you’ll find her working in her organic veggie garden in South West London and taking long walks along the river Thames, her happy place.
