The Mimo London Chef’s Table Dinner is a unique concept, inspired by the Basque gastronomic societies in San Sebastián. Just as in the local societies, at our chef’s table dinner the line between kitchen and dining room, between chef and friend, is blurred. Take the best seat in the house, around our rugged concrete chef’s counter, for a close-up view of the cooking action. Listen to our chefs tell stories and explain the dishes, all from the top floor of our cookery school, overlooking Borough market.
This is not a restaurant—our exclusive chef's table night is specially tailored for the enjoyment of just a few guests. Our experts are passionate about having a good time, so relax as they pour you glass of wine and enjoy this laid-back, luxe experience.
This demo lasts two and a half hours and includes guidance on preparing our chef’s dishes, as well as a fabulous time among new friends. The dinner includes:
Expert cooking demonstration Tasting menu dinner with wines VIP luxury experience
Growing up on an olive and almond farm in Andalusia, Antonio has always had an interest in food. After finishing hospitality school in Spain, he came to London with the intention of staying for a year — 14 years later, he’s still enjoying everything that this city has to offer. Toni's passion for food and wine developed while working in various restaurants and led to another degree, this time in hospitality management. He has worked for the likes of Michelin-starred chef Bruno Loubet and the acclaimed St. John restaurant, as well as running private events that have ranged from high-profile weddings to the Polo world championships to events for galleries like Saatchi and the White Cube. Before joining us as Operations Manager at Mimo London, Toni managed the operations of a 250-capacity restaurant and bar in a multi-arts space in Hackney, where he combined his passion for food and wine with his love of music (he’s been a DJ and music promoter for over 10 years).
