Our experts present a custom itinerary designed for small groups of 8-12 people, perfect for a corporate trip or family reunion.  From a landing in Madrid to a dinner among vineyards in La Rioja, The Ultimate Autumn in Spain is a selection of foodie activities that are in season.  Your group will be guided throughout the entire trip by one of Mimo's most popular guides, Lourdes Erquicia. The package also includes lodging at some of the country's top 5* hotels, including Frank Gehry's masterpiece, Marques de Riscal.

September 24-26
Start off in Madrid, which includes a panoramic city tour visiting a few of our guides' top insider spots for wine and tapas, dining at the oldest restaurant in the world, and a very special cooking experience.

September 26-29
Find yourself in Seville, the city of flashy flamenco and cold sherry. Enjoy them both as our guide takes you to Triana, one of Sevilla's most authentic neighborhoods. Spend the rest of your time in the countryside, making an exclusive visit to a sherry bodega and taking a day to visit the famous Iberian pig in its native habitat, before chowing down on its artisan cured jamón ibérico.   

September 29   
Fly north to Bilbao, where you will see the masterpiece and main event: the Guggenheim. After a traditional lunch, we'll head to San Sebastián, the culinary capital of Spain—hope you saved room for pintxos, as our Pintxo Tasting Tour has been ranked by Trip Advisor in the Top 10 of Food Tours in the World.

September 30 - October 2
Relax and settle in to San Sebastián. Learn to cook Basque food in Mimo's state of the art cooking school, with ingredients you purchase at the market.  On the remainder of your trip, you'll also dine inside a gastronomic society, visit the seaside village of Getaria, a nexus of the Basque grilling culture, and eat very well.

October 2-4  
Time to head to wine country. Mix architecture, food and Rioja wine in a jaunt to some of the most important bodegas in the region.  Sleep in a glistening Frank Gehry buildilng, the Marques de Riscal bodega, and spend your days tasting wines and enjoying the unique food culture that accompanies Rioja's winery's fame.
